Thornleigh Travel was inaugurated in 2001 to provide escorted holidays abroad to lovely and interesting places. All holidays are designed by our Overseas Executive, David Mycock, guaranteeing that you will have a wonderful time staying in quality hotels and including that special ingredient which makes all the difference - Christian fellowship.
Each holiday is accompanied by carefully selected leaders, who are responsible for the social and spiritual welfare of the group. Although Thornleigh Travel is a relatively new tour operator, it has an impressive list of satisfied customers, who have travelled to countries mainly in Europe : Austria, Channel Islands, Corsica, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Israel (Holy Land), Italy, Ireland, Malta, Monaco, Morocco (North Africa), Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey in Asia Minor and New York City.
David Mycock MHCIMA, was involved in the inauguration and development of Thornleigh Travel in 2001. He tries and tests all the holidays prior to offering them to our customers. Nice work if you can get it but, as he says, "Somebody has to do it!"
Grace Whitaker MIH, is in her fifth year as General Manager, having been in the Thornleigh Management team since 1997. Her career of nearly 30 years has been entirely in the hospitality industry.
