- Most hotels on our holidays have a lift but occasionally there may be hotels which do not have this facility. Please indicate on the booking form if a ground or first floor room is essential. All hotel bedrooms are en suite with either a bath or shower (or both), hand basin and wc. Accommodation provided is as stated with breakfast and other meal(s) as indicated, but drinks are not included.Excursions and Admissions are not included, unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT at 20%.
- You should pay an initial deposit of £150 per person when booking your holiday. Nothing further is required to be paid until 10 weeks prior to departure when the full balance is due. If your booking is made less than 10 weeks before the start of the holiday, the total cost of the holiday is payable when booking. Should Thornleigh Travel book flight(s) for you, although you have the option to book your own flights, the air fare(s) must be paid as soon as advised after the initial deposit.
- We rely on you to obtain full insurance cover immediately you book the holiday. In the event of cancelling the holiday, the following scale of charges applies: more than 112 days before departure, £150* per person; 112 to 84 days prior, £250* per person; less than 83 days prior to departure, or later, the total cost of the holiday. (* plus the cost of any air fares)
- If you have special needs, you should make arrangements for someone to accompany you who will assist in looking after you. Please bring such matters to our attention when booking for the holiday and inform us if you have any dietary requirements, particularly if you are a vegetarian.
- Medical attention whilst abroad can be expensive. For this reason we recommend you obtain adequate insurance and do not rely solely on the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), previously known as form E111. Your passport must not expire earlier than 6 months after the date your holiday terminates. Health regulations do not currently require any injections for holidays on this website, but you are advised to check your health with your medical practitioner.
- If it is impossible for you to go on holiday, in certain circumstances you may transfer your booking to someone else, if you give us reasonable notice. However, flights are booked in your name and are non-transferable. We will make an administrative charge of £30 per person for every transfer we make.
- If we have to make a significant change to your holiday after you have booked, you will have the option of withdrawing from the holiday without penalty. We may, however, offer you a viable alternative which will be your prerogative to accept or not. If we have to cancel a holiday, for whatever reason, we will offer an alternative holiday should one be available. If this is unacceptable, we will make a full refund of all money paid and have no further liability.
- The price of our holidays is guaranteed, with no surcharges. Government action, such as change in VAT, or any other government imposed increases may require a change in the cost of the holiday, as would any increase in the cost of air travel, if appropriate.
